Mission

The Cakecutter Institute a fiscal sponsor of The Compton Arts Project, was established to develop community-based arts and cultural programming in communities of color. The organization’s mission is to empower people of color through the arts.

As a new organization, Cakecutter Institute is engaged in a rigorous strategic planning process with its board and stakeholders to develop its 2021 to 2026 Strategic Plan.
